  9.             He was one of the Sanctuary residents 
  10.             who'll be guarding the hostages.  
  11.             The government troops will storm 
  12.             this place, based on rumors that the 
  13.             hostages have been killed.
  14.                 (a beat)
  15.             But it'll turn out that the hostages 
  16.             were never harmed.  Because of Gabriel 
  17.             Bell.  In the end, Bell will sacrifice 
  18.             his own life to save them.  He'll 
  19.             become a national hero.  Outrage 
  20.             over his death, and the death of the 
  21.             other residents, will change public 
  22.             opinion about the Sanctuaries.  
  23.             They'll be torn down and the United 
  24.             States will finally begin correcting 
  25.             the social problems it had struggled 
  26.             with for over a hundred years.
  27.  
  28.                     BASHIR
  29.             All because of what's going to happen 
  30.             here in a few days.

  32.                     SISKO
  33.             Which means if we warn these people 
  34.             about what's coming, if we try to 
  35.             help them in any way, we risk altering 
  36.             a pivotal moment in history.  And we 
  37.             can't let that happen.

  39.     As much as he doesn't like it, Bashir knows Sisko is right.
