  7.                 (a beat)
  8.             As soon as we get a chance, we've 
  9.             got to find her.

  11.                     BASHIR
  12.             And then what?
  13.  
  14.     What Bashir's really asking is how do we get out of this.  
  15.     Sisko doesn't have an answer, but he has the quiet confidence 
  16.     to know that given time, he'll find one.
  17.  
  18.                     SISKO
  19.             And then... we find a way home.
  20.  
  21.     Vin finishes his business at the gate and signals Bernardo.  
  22.     Bernardo glances at his watch, and frowns.  He gestures for 
  23.     Sisko and Bashir to walk toward the gate.
  24.  
  25.                     BERNARDO
  26.                 (to Sisko and Bashir)
  27.             Okay, let's go.  Hurry it up.
  28.                 (to himself)
  29.             Sonya's gonna kill me.
  30.  
  31.     The cops escort Sisko and Bashir through the Pedestrian Gate 
  32.     and into...
  33.  
  34. 15   EXT. SANCTUARY DISTRICT "A" - STREET - DAY #1
  35.     (OPTICAL)
  36.  
  37.     Sisko and Bashir ENTER a street lined by dirty, 
  38.     dilapidated buildings, with boarded up windows and 
  39.     impromptu campsites set up in the doorways and 
  40.     stairwells.  It's a sharp contrast to the relatively 
  41.     clean city outside.  The street is crowded with poorly 
  42.     dressed homeless men, women, and children, of all ages 
  43.     and races, many standing in a long food line.
  44.  
  45.     Once they're through the gate, Bernardo pulls Vin aside to 
  46.     try to convince Vin to finish processing Sisko and Bashir 
  47.     without his help.  This exchange takes place in the background 
  48.     and we don't have to hear it.

  50. 16   ANGLE ON SISKO AND BASHIR

  52.     As they react to the utter poverty that surrounds them.
