  7.     Odo is completely ignoring him.  Quark tries to change the 
  8.     subject, hoping for some conversation... any conversation.

  10.                     QUARK
  11.                 (continuing)
  12.             So... what's your role on this little 
  13.             adventure?  Providing security no 
  14.             doubt?
  15.                 (no response)
  16.             Well, of course you are.  I mean why 
  17.             else would you be here?  I can tell 
  18.             you I feel much safer now, just 
  19.             knowing that you're along, because I 
  20.             know you can be trusted to --

  22.     Odo finally cuts him off... and his tone and look are much 
  23.     harsher and meaner than we've ever heard him address Quark 
  24.     in the past.

  26.                     ODO
  27.             I've held this shape for sixteen 
  28.             hours... I have to revert back to my 
  29.             liquid state, but I don't want you 
  30.             to watch and... gawk at me...

  32.                     QUARK
  33.             I completely understand.  This is a 
  34.             very private moment and I won't 
  35.             interfere.

  37.             This won't be so bad... sharing 
  38.             quarters, that is... we might even

  43.             I have no interest in speaking to 
  44.             you, or in listening to your witless 
  45.             prattle.  So stay out of my way, or 
  46.             you'll regret the day you ever met

  49.     A chill runs up Quark's spine and he reacts as if someone 
  50.     just slapped him across the face.  Quark falls silent and 
  51.     Odo MORPHS into his pail.
