  1. GROUNDING

  3. If the G/NET cable runs more than 200 - 300 feet without connecting to a PC,
  4. it must be grounded every 200 - 300 feet along such a run.  Do this by
  5. cutting the cable and installing a connector on each cut end, then connecting
  6. the ends together through a flange mount adapter (ITT Pomona #4895 or
  7. equivalent).  Attach a wire to the flange of the adapter and connect the wire
  8. to a nearby electrical ground.
