  12. MemMaker removes all references to QEMM. However, if one of your QEMM
  13. statements in the CONFIG.SYS file does not have an equal sign (=),
  14. MemMaker ignores it; the driver is not loaded by MemMaker, nor is it
  15. removed from the CONFIG.SYS file. If this occurs, you may receive an
  16. error message from MemMaker stating that another expanded memory
  17. manager (EMM) is already running.

  19. To work around this problem, edit your CONFIG.SYS file with a text
  20. editor such as MS-DOS Editor and put equal signs in your DEVICE
  21. commands.
