  12. The device driver for the APPIAN Rendition IIe Video card (GAI.SYS)
  13. cannot be loaded high.
  14.  
  15. If you are using this video card, you need to manually exclude GAI.SYS
  16. when running MemMaker in custom mode, or modify the MEMMAKER.INF file.
  17. To exclude the GAI.SYS device driver, edit the MEMMAKER.INF file with
  18. a text editor such as MS-DOS Editor, and add the following line:

  24. If GAI.SYS is loaded high (into upper memory) the system may stop
  25. responding (hang) at random. This can also occur when you run the
  26. MS-DOS Prompt icon in Windows.
