  15.         SYMPTOM:  The incorrect IPX will hang the machine when
  16. NETM is typed when normally this would call the IPX into action.
  17.  
  18.   ISSUE/PROBLEM:   There is a problem with the IPX.OBJ included
  19. in Novell DR Multiuser DOS 5.1.  The computer hangs when NETM is
  20. entered.  This only occurs with newly generated Workstations.     
  21.  
  22. This problem was first reported with, but not related to, several
  23. new 3-Com cards.   This was only due to the fact that 3-Com has
  24. some of the newest cards available and therefore DR Multiuser DOS
  25. did not have pre-compiled versions of the IPX.COM for them.

  27.        SOLUTION:  Replace the old IPX.OBJ (checksum = 6D9D) with 
  28. the new IPX.OBJ (checksum = B033). The new IPX.OBJ is available
  29. on the support BBS at 408-649-3443 as IPXDRM.ZIP.

  40. before creating a Workstation with WSGEN

  42. Verify the Checksum by typing:  XDIR IPX.OBJ /C
