SECOND ANNUAL GRAPHICS ADVENTURE GAME DESIGN CONTEST
PLANO, TX -- DC Software announces the second annual contest for the
best computer graphics adventure game developed using the Graphics
Adventure Game Builder (DCGAMES).
The Graphics Adventure Game Builder is a computer program to help
you create your own graphics adventure games with no programming
experience with a minimum amount of time and effort on PC Compatible
computers running the MS-DOS operating system.
The winner of the Second Annual Graphics Adventure Game Design Contest
will receive a grand price of $100. Additional prices may be granted
if for special categories at the judges options. The game's author(s)
will retain all rights to their games. If more than two games tie for
first place, an additional judge will be asked to rank the tied games.
The purpose of this contest is to encourage people to develop adventure
games and share them with other adventure game players. Authors need
not be registered users of the Graphics Adventure Game Builder system.
CONTEST RULES
Eligible entries must be designed with the Graphics Adventure Game
Builder system. Contest entries must be postmarked by April 30th,
1992 and received by at DC Software no later than May 15, 1992.
Entries must be submitted on a diskette (5-1/2 inch 360KB or 1.2MB,
or 3-1/2 inch 720KB or 1.44MB) and must include:
- The adventure game files (WORLD.*, WORLDO*, *.DTA, *.IDX, etc)
- A short walk-through that will help the judges in evaluating (playing)
the adventure without having to spend too much time solving it. This

development and general playability. A single author may submit any
number of entries, but each must be submitted separately.
This contest may be cancelled without prior notice by DC Software. If

cancellation is announced on CompuServ.

from select bulletin boards and authorized public domain/shareware disk
vendors, from Library # 9 (CRPG) in the GAMERS FORUM, in the CompuServe
