  15.   The installation procedure for this download of the HTML Reference
  16. Library allows three installation options.
  17.   Typical : The HTMLib, The Tips 'n' Tricks and the Colour Wizard
  18.             are all installed.
  19.   Compact : The HTMLib only is installed.
  20.   Custom  : You have a choice of installing any of the
  21.             HTMLib, Tips 'n' Tricks and Colour Wizard modules.

  23.   Whatever installation you choose, the Setup routine will place
  24. the necessary files in the directory you choose during Setup and
  25. place any necessary icons within whatever group you specify during
  26. the Setup process.  For file details, see below.

  28.   Registry Keys

  30.   In order to facilitate running of the Colour Wizard from Explorer,
  31. (by double-clicking on a '*.colwiz file') the following registry 
  32. keys are created during Setup :

  34.   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.colwiz
  35.   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\colwizfile\Shell\Open\Command
  36.   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\colwizfile\DefaultIcon

  38.   If you choose to uninstall the HTMLib (from Start|Settings|
  39. Control Panel|Add/Remove programs) then all of these registry keys
  40. are removed.  No other application should use the extension 
  41. '*.colwiz', so these keys should not cause any problems.

  45.   The following lists the various files that will be installed and
  46. their target directories.  It should be noted that a 'Typical'
  47. installation routine will install all of the below files (if
  48. newer than existing versions), a 'Compact' installation will
  49. only install the 'HTMLib files' and a 'Custom' installation will
  50. install any of the following files, depending on what 'modules' of
  51. the HTMLib package are installed.

  75.   where <INSTALLDIR> is the path\directory specified during setup
  76. and <WINSYSDIR> is the Windows\System directory (typically 
  77. C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM).
  78.   Several other files are created in the <INSTALLDIR> that are not
  79. specified above.  These files are required by the Setup routine for
  80. uninstallation of the HTMLib package and should not be deleted.

  82.   NOTE : There is no 'maintenance' installation routine for the
  83. HTMLib package.  If you will want to install other modules after
  84. the initial installation, make sure you keep a copy of the original
  85. download archive.  Also note that no 'user-created' files are 
  86. removed during the un-installation process.  'User-created' files
  87. are '*.colwiz' files, created from the Colour Wizard.  If these
  88. are stored in the <INSTALLDIR> then the <INSTALLDIR> will not be
  89. removed during un-installation.
