  1.   For the purposes of this document, the name 'HTMLib' refers to the 
  2. 'HTML Reference Library' package (including the HTMLib Colour Wizard
  3. and the HTMLib Tips 'n' Tricks file).  The 'HTMLib package' consists
  4. of the original archive file in which the HTMLib is contained.  
  5. This is considered the 'PRODUCT' The 'author' is Stephen Le Hunte, 
  6. who can be contacted at cmlehunt@swan.ac.uk

  8.   Distribution terms.
  9.   You are free to distribute the HTMLib package on any public 
  10. Web/FTP/Gopher site without necessarily obtaining the authors 
  11. permission.  (Notification will be appreciated).  (Corporate/ISP 
  12. administrators wishing to install the HTMLib for multiple users, 
  13. see the 'Registration' section below)  If you wish to distribute 
  14. the HTMLib on or with ANY OTHER MEDIA (i.e. if you want to include 
  15. the HTMLib on a magazine cover CD, or on a CD accompanying a book, 
  16. or possibly with other software, or any distribution situation 
  17. similar to these) then the EXPRESS PERMISSION of the author is 
  18. REQUIRED.  The HTMLib is NOT allowed to be distributed as part 
  19. of any larger package (such as those described above) if the 
  20. permission of the author has not been granted.
  21.   The HTMLib Colour Wizard is NOT to be distributed outside of the 
  22. total HTMLib package.

  24.   Registration.
  25.   The 'HTMLib' is totally free for personal and private use.  
  26. However, if you feel that the 'HTMLib' is worth money, or you have 
  27. made money as a result of using the HTMLib and wish to register 
  28. your approval financially, then contact me to arrange payment.  
  29. (It should be noted that there is no formal registration/support 
  30. deal with the HTMLib.  Essentially, if you are willing to pay then 
  31. I will not turn down any payments.)

  33.   If you are responsible for a company/ISP etc. network and you 
  34. wish to install the HTMLib for multiple users, then you should 
  35. consider some payment as a reflection of the time that the HTMLib 
  36. may save users within the company.  Contact me if you are in this 
  37. position.

  39.   Legal.
  40.   DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY.  The PRODUCT is provided 
  41. "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. THE AUTHOR FURTHER DISCLAIMS 
  42. ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES 
  43. OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND 
  44. NONINFRINGEMENT.  THE ENTIRE RISK ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR 
  45. PERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCT AND DOCUMENTATION REMAINS WITH THE USER.  
  46. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL 
  47. THE AUTHOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, DIRECT, 
  48. INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR OTHER DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, 
  49. WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS 
  50. INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF BUSINESS INFORMATION, OR OTHER PECUNIARY LOSS)
