  6. GENERAL INFORMATION  : Rrinter on a XT or 286 the customer needs to make sure
  7. that the com or lpt is hardware driven not poll driven. Dos does polling and
  8. therefore the printer would work under Dos but in Rprinter the printer would
  9. show that it was printing but nothing would come out or it would take an hour
  10. or more per page.  Most PC or XT com or lpt ports are poll driven and therefor
  11. will not work.  But if replaced with hardware IRQ ports they will work.
