  7. GENERAL INFORMATION  : Another of the SHELL.CFG parameters which was changed
  8. with the 3.01 shell, but not documented, was TASK MODE.

  10. TASK MODE = X
  11.  
  12. This parameter determines the way the shell handles virtual machine task
  13. management.  The default (which is 2) will work with Windows 3.0.  If you are
  14. using an earlier version of Windows or a third-party multitasking program, set
  15. the task mode to 1.  If you are not using a multitasking program and want a
  16. little extra speed, set the task mode to 0.
