  2. This program allows you to turn your 
  3. DOOM 1 PWADS into DOOM 2 PWADS. It is 
  4. VERY SLOW however.  A 300Kb file can 
  5. take around 30 minutes or more depend-
  6. ing on your computer.  It was written 
  7. in Modula-2 so I was very limited.  
  8. What the program does is search the old 
  9. wad file for doom 1 texture strings and 
  10. replaces them with ones that can be used 
  11. in doom 2.
