  4. Thank you very much for downloading Palmscape.  We hope that you will
  5. enjoy using Palmscape when browsing the web files.

  7. Palmscape is a web browsing application software which operates on 
  8. Palm OS Platform device to which Palm OS 3.x operates.
  9.  
  10. Important Notice:
  11. -----------------
  12. Palmscape is a commercial software.  You can use it for evaluation(*1)
  13. freely for 14 days. When you are ready to purchase Palmscape during or
  14. at the end of the evaluation, you  can purchase Palmscape from PalmGear
  15. H.Q. at http://www.palmgear.com/.  You will receive a Registration Code
  16. from PalmGear upon purchase in order to register your copy of Palmscape.

  18. In order to receive technical support on Palmscape, you need to include
  19. the Registration Code that you have obtained from PalmGear H.Q. when you
  20. purchased Palmscape.  
  21.  
  22. (*1) If you choose to evaluate Palmscape first, tap the Palmscape icon
  23. from the screen, tap CANCEL button, and start to use Palmscape. Remember
  24. that the evaluation period is only for 14 days.

  26. Warning:

  28. Please be aware that file installation differs between Palm OS 3.5.x and
  29. Palm OS 3.3 and older. It is recommended that you first check the Palm
  30. OS version of your Palm OS device before determining which appropriate
  31. prc file to install into your Palm OS device.

  38.     Palmscape Application software for Palm OS 3.3 and older
  39. *Readme.txt
  40.     The file that you are presently reading.

  42.     This file contains the End User License Agreement for use of
  43.     Palmscape.
  44. *PalmscapeManual.pdf
  45.     The manual is in PDF format which can be read with the Adobe
  46.     Acrobat Reader (provided by Adobe Systems Incorporated). 
  47.     You can download the Reader from http://www.adobe.com/

  49. Installation Procedure:
  50. -----------------------
  51. First, launch the installation tool on your PC.
  52. Click the ADD button, and select the appropriate file to install into
  53. your Palm device.
  54. For Palm OS 3.5.x, select Palmscape35.prc, and for Palm OS 3.3 and older
  55. version, select Palmscape30.prc.
  56. Once you have made your selection, click the Close button.
  57. Perform HotSync to begin installing Palmscape from your PC onto your
  58. Palm device.
  59. Refer to the manual of the Palm Desktop for detailed description on the
  60. usage of the installation tool.

  64. Corrupt dialog used to be displayed if phone icon was being tapped.

  73. HTML might be rendered incorrectly if the document contained characters 
  74. from \201 to \237 or from \340 to \367.

  78. For PalmVIIx, PalmVII users, please use Palmscape with modem dialup
  79. Internet connection as it will not work with the wireless antenna.
