Thank you very much for downloading Palmscape.  We hope that you will
enjoy using Palmscape when browsing the web files.

Palmscape is a web browsing application software which operates on 
Palm OS Platform device to which Palm OS 3.x operates.

Important Notice:
-----------------
Palmscape is a commercial software.  You can use it for evaluation(*1)
freely for 14 days. When you are ready to purchase Palmscape during or
at the end of the evaluation, you  can purchase Palmscape from PalmGear
H.Q. at http://www.palmgear.com/.  You will receive a Registration Code
from PalmGear upon purchase in order to register your copy of Palmscape.

In order to receive technical support on Palmscape, you need to include
the Registration Code that you have obtained from PalmGear H.Q. when you
purchased Palmscape.  

(*1) If you choose to evaluate Palmscape first, tap the Palmscape icon
from the screen, tap CANCEL button, and start to use Palmscape. Remember
that the evaluation period is only for 14 days.

Warning:

Please be aware that file installation differs between Palm OS 3.5.x and
Palm OS 3.3 and older. It is recommended that you first check the Palm
OS version of your Palm OS device before determining which appropriate
prc file to install into your Palm OS device.

	Palmscape Application software for Palm OS 3.5.x
*Palmscape30.prc
	Palmscape Application software for Palm OS 3.3 and older
*Readme.txt
	The file that you are presently reading.
*License.txt
	This file contains the End User License Agreement for use of
	Palmscape.
*PalmscapeManual.pdf
	The manual is in PDF format which can be read with the Adobe
	Acrobat Reader (provided by Adobe Systems Incorporated). 
	You can download the Reader from http://www.adobe.com/

Installation Procedure:
-----------------------
First, launch the installation tool on your PC.
Click the ADD button, and select the appropriate file to install into
your Palm device.
For Palm OS 3.5.x, select Palmscape35.prc, and for Palm OS 3.3 and older
version, select Palmscape30.prc.
Once you have made your selection, click the Close button.
Perform HotSync to begin installing Palmscape from your PC onto your
Palm device.
Refer to the manual of the Palm Desktop for detailed description on the
usage of the installation tool.

Bugs fixed in this version:

Corrupt dialog used to be displayed if phone icon was being tapped.

Changes in this version:
------------------------
Switching between documents is much faster.
Some minor optimizations.

Known Problems:
---------------
HTML might be rendered incorrectly if the document contained characters 
from \201 to \237 or from \340 to \367.

Limitations:
------------
For PalmVIIx, PalmVII users, please use Palmscape with modem dialup
Internet connection as it will not work with the wireless antenna.
