  28.                 Intel SatisFAXion Driver for OS/2

  31. The Intel SatisFAXion board does not currently support OS/2.  It
  32. is basically a programmable communications device emulator and
  33. has an on-board CPU, bus, RAM and CMOS storage.  The DOS device
  34. driver supplied by Intel, uploads a bootstrap loader and
  35. operating system to the board.  This allows the board to emulate
  36. a communications device and also allows easy upgrade to support
  37. enhanced communications protocols and features by simply
  38. uploading enhanced emulation code.

  40. The loader for the Intel SatisFAXion board, written by Wayne J.
  41. Desmond, emulates the portion of the SATISFAX.SYS DOS device
  42. driver supplied by Intel, that initializes the modem portion of
  43. the board.  The loader does not support any CAS or fax commands.
  44. The loader was developed as part of a commercial software
  45. package for the Intel SatisFAXion board and is available for
  46. OS/2 version 1.3 and 2.0.  A version for the Coherent operating
  47. system version 4.0.1 is also available.

  49. The software is available on either 5-1/4 (1.2 Meg) or 3-1/5
  50. (1.44 Meg) diskettes by sending a check or money order for

  65. software and is not public domain or shareware.  You are not
  66. free to distribute it, run it on more than one CPU at a time, or
  67. copy the diskette, except to make one copy for backup purposes.
