Its 15th, 17th and 18th century buildings are arranged around 6 quads for the public gaze with [ITAL]the largest garden in Oxford[EITAL], [ITAL]whilst, like poor relations, the modern additions are kept wisely out of sight. The only sounds during the day are the busy jottings, the page flicking or the pencil chewing of diligent students. At night, though, students remove their thinking caps, let their hair down and get down to the bar, already full of the women rowers (alias 'The Sirens'). Apart from the bar, however, entertainments aren't the most inspiring (except the twice-termly guest dinners), although sport and drama have picked up lately. Everyone lives in ([ITAL]high standard[EITAL]); most eat in hall once a day; formal hall daily; [ITAL]reasonable [EITAL]self catering. Nurse.
