[EITAL]LUSU has no building of its own, just offices and the Sugar House. Representation, entertainments and services are also provided on a college level through Junior Common Rooms (JCRs)[ITAL], which, for many, offer more than enough politics. [EITAL][PARA][PARA][ITAL][HDNG]SU FACILITIES:[EHDNG][EITAL][PARA]LUSU provides only 2 general shops, a 2nd hand bookshop, drugstore and Sugar House, but around the campus there are also banks, a post office, bookshops (1st and 2nd hand), hairdresser, chemist, newsagent, supermarket, bakery, travel agency and a few smaller shops. Each college also has a JCR.[HDNG]CLUBS (NON SPORTING):[EHDNG][PARA]Alternative Games; Alternative Music; Astrology; Amnesty International; Arts; Backpacker; Ballroom Dancing; Buddhist; Chinese; Choral; CND; Computing; Conservation Vols; Direct Aid (3rd World First); Great Wall; Hellenic; Jugglers; Justice and Peace; Links; Luma; Lurps; Malaysian; Mini (as in the car); Motorsport; Psycho; Scouts and Guides; Soul; SEASOC; Speliological; Sub-Aqua; Theatre.[HDNG]OTHER ORGANISATIONS:[EHDNG][PARA]'SCAN' (Student Comment And News) is the union-published student newspaper and students in colleges often produce termly magazines (gossip-mongering rags). There's also URB (University Radio Bailrigg) which broadcasts across campus 17 hours a day, 7 days a week. Last year the charity rag raised ú10,000. There are various community action groups.[HDNG]RELIGIOUS:[EHDNG][PARA][STAT][BULL] Chaplains[ESTAT][PARA]There is a non-denominational Chaplaincy Centre on campus which hosts visits from ministers of most religions. There are various places of worship in town including a number of different churches and a mosque.[HDNG]PAID WORK:[EHDNG][PARA][ITAL]Nothing unusual except some tourist jobs in summer.[EITAL][PARA][PARA]
