[EITAL][PARA]LUSU has no building of its own, just offices and the Sugar [PARA]House. Representation, entertainments and services are also [PARA]provided on a college level through Junior Common Rooms [PARA](JCRs)[ITAL], which, for many, offer more than enough politics. [EITAL][PARA][PARA][ITAL][HDNG]SU FACILITIES:[EHDNG][EITAL][PARA]LUSU provides only 2 general shops, a 2nd hand bookshop, [PARA]drugstore and Sugar House, but around the campus there are [PARA]also banks, a post office, bookshops (1st and 2nd hand), [PARA]hairdresser, chemist, newsagent, supermarket, bakery, travel [PARA]agency and a few smaller shops. Each college also has a JCR.[HDNG]CLUBS (NON SPORTING):[EHDNG][PARA]Alternative Games; Alternative Music; Astrology; Amnesty [PARA]International; Arts; Backpacker; Ballroom Dancing; Buddhist; [PARA]Chinese; Choral; CND; Computing; Conservation Vols; Direct Aid [PARA](3rd World First); Great Wall; Hellenic; Jugglers; Justice and [PARA]Peace; Links; Luma; Lurps; Malaysian; Mini (as in the car); [PARA]Motorsport; Psycho; Scouts and Guides; Soul; SEASOC; [PARA]Speliological; Sub-Aqua; Theatre.[HDNG]OTHER ORGANISATIONS:[EHDNG][PARA]'SCAN' (Student Comment And News) is the union-published [PARA]student newspaper and students in colleges often produce termly[PARA]magazines (gossip-mongering rags). There's also URB [PARA](University Radio Bailrigg) which broadcasts across campus 17 [PARA]hours a day, 7 days a week. Last year the charity rag raised [PARA]ú10,000. There are various community action groups.[HDNG]RELIGIOUS:[EHDNG][PARA][STAT][BULL] Chaplains[ESTAT][PARA]There is a non-denominational Chaplaincy Centre on campus [PARA]which hosts visits from ministers of most religions. There are [PARA]various places of worship in town including a number of different [PARA]churches and a mosque.[HDNG]PAID WORK:[EHDNG][PARA][ITAL]Nothing unusual except some tourist jobs in summer.[EITAL][PARA][PARA]
