In order of popularity[EITAL], they are The [PARA]George Knox Tavern (cap 200), Shafts Disco Bar (400) and the [PARA]Cafe Bar (150).[PARA][BOLD]Theatres:[EBOLD] 1 studio theatre. [ITAL]Drama is quite a high profile activity. [EITAL] 2 [PARA]shows went to the Edinburgh Fringe last year.[PARA][BOLD]Cinemas:[EBOLD] Videos are shown once a week in Shafts; lately, [PARA]Thelma and Louise, Sliver.[PARA][BOLD]Music venue and club/disco:[EBOLD] Every night is club night in the SU's [PARA]customised venue 'Shafts', which also often hosts bands of [PARA]considerable note, considering the size of the venue. Livers out and those who don't have to be on campus [PARA]during the day find their lunchtime fill in Ponty's tea shops, [PARA]sandwich bars, pubs, fast food joints (burgers, fish 'n' chips). [PARA]Some [ITAL]fairly cheap [EITAL]restaurants: Indian (3), Italian, Pizza, British [PARA]and Chinese. [PUSH]push[EPUSH][ITAL]plug to John and Marie's, for variety.[EITAL] [ITAL][PARA]Vegetarians will find the choice extremely limited.[EITAL] Fast food [PARA]slows down around midnight, but there's a 24hr garage for [PARA]ciggies and chocs.
