  13. Summary:
  14. Below is a summary of the changes to the display drivers in the
  15. Microsoft Windows Driver Library (WDL). The WDL offers support for
  16. many printers, displays, and sound cards not provided with Microsoft
  17. Windows operating system version 3.1.
  18.  
  19. To see WDL.TXT, which contains a complete listing of the WDL's
  20. contents and instructions for obtaining the WDL, query on "Q82006"
  21. (without the quotation marks) in the Microsoft Knowledge Base.

  36.            displays when the .EXE file is run was also added. These
  37.            changes are designed to reduce the problems that occur when
  38.            the .EXE file is run from the WINDOWS or WINDOWS\SYSTEM
  39.            directory.

  53. 06/19/92 - New file. Replaced ATIULT.EXE. Contains updated drivers for
  54.            the ATI 8514 Ultra, ATI Graphics Vantage and the ATI
  55.            Graphics Ultra. These updated drivers offer improved
  56.            performance and quality. Also included in ATI.EXE are
  57.            drivers for the ATI VGA Wonder cards.

  59. ATI 8514/Ultra (ATIULT.EXE)

  61. 06/25/92 - The ATIULT.EXE file has been replaced with ATI.EXE. The new
  62.            ATI.EXE file contains updated ATI Ultra drivers, as well as
  63.            support for the ATI VGA Wonder cards.
  64. 06/15/92 - THE DRIVERS HAVE NOT BEEN CHANGED. All the compressed files
  65.            have been renamed using the .XX_ convention. A message that
  66.            displays when the .EXE file is run was also added. These
  67.            changes are designed to reduce the problems that occur when
  68.            the .EXE file is run from the WINDOWS or WINDOWS\SYSTEM
  69.            directory.

  72. 05/06/92 - Removed support for the ATI Ultra (800 by 600) adapters.
  73.            Windows would not load when this driver was used. An update

  101.            display adapters based on Chips & Technology 655XX chips.
  102.            See WDL.TXT for specific information on which resolutions
  103.            and color capabilities  are supported in this file.

  105. DGIS 3.0 and Compatible (DGIS30.EXE)
  106. ------------------------------------

  108. 10/08/92 - THE DRIVERS HAVE NOT BEEN CHANGED. The DGIS.TXT file was
  109.            added. It discusses firmware updates needed to take
  110.            advantage of these drivers. Information is included on how
  111.            to obtain the firmware updates.

  113. 06/15/92 - THE DRIVERS HAVE NOT BEEN CHANGED. All the compressed files
  114.            have been renamed using the .XX_ convention. A message that
  115.            displays when the .EXE file is run was also added. These

  340. 05/28/92 - Corrected an internal ID string in the OEMSETUP.INF file
  341.            for the ET4000 640-by-480 64K entry. The problem showed up
  342.            when you selected ET4000 800-by-600 64K small fonts. You
  343.            ended up with the 640-by-480 driver (because they had the
  344.            same internal description string). When you try to
  345.            reinstall the driver, it installs properly. No driver fixes
  346.            are included in the new TSENG4.EXE file.
