Transcription: On the last day of the mission, before deorbit, crew members performed the control system check-out. Their objective was to make certain all of the systems on board were running smoothly for the journey back into the Earth's atmosphere. The crew ran various tests on the hydraulic system to determine if the reserve power unit was functioning normally. The reaction control system jets were also fired to make sure they operated properly. After the shuttle passed the astronauts' tests, Final preparations were made for the trip home.
