txtCardText=I\'92m Robert Winter, and it\'92s my pleasure to invite you to join me in a listening experience that the late 18th century regarded as one of its most sublime forms of communication. I\'92m referring to the institution of the string quartet, that closely-knit group of two violinists, a violist, and a cellist. In 1785, the 30-year-old Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart published six string quartets which he dedicated to his beloved friend and mentor, Joseph Haydn. Throughout the 19th century, the most notorious of these six works was the String Quartet in C major, K. 465, dubbed the \'93Dissonant\'94 Quartet. Today, it is still arguably Mozart\'92s most perfect string quartet and indisputably one of the most popular works in all of the vast literature of chamber music.
