Welcome! Thank you for taking the time to give this game a try. RIP-Jack
represents a combination between the new PPE programing language for PCBoard,
and the RIP Script graphics protocol.
Rip-Jack allows users to trade their time online for money and try their luck!
A user receives $10 for every minute of time online. They then bet their
money in the game. When the quit, run out of money, or drop carrier, their
money is converted back into time.
This game will allow a user to try to gain extra time to get that one last
file they need, rather then having to come back later. Unfortunately, most
people loose money at black jack! Heh, heh, to bad.
Currently, the only output is sent to the users screen, other then a line of
text stating that the user is playing RIP-Jack. The program is very easy to
install.
1) Run PCBSETUP and choose option B) File Locations
2) Next, choose option B) Configuration Files
3) Now, highlight Name/Location of Default .CMD file and hit F2
4) This is the screen where you tell PCBOARD what program you
will be running. If there are no blank lines, hit ALT I.
You will now be on a blank line. Type the command the user
must enter to start the game and hit enter. It should be
RIPJACK.
Next, type in the MINIMUM security level required to start
the game. If you don't want certain user leves to get in,
put a number above that security level.
Finally, enter the path and filename to the RIP-Jack program.
For instance, if you have stored the game in the C:\PCB\GAMES
directory, then type in C:\PCB\GAMES\RIP-JACK.PPE and hit
escape. PCBSETUP will prompt you to confirm that you want the
changes saved. Tell it yes and exit out of the program.
5) Thats it! The game is installed! No batch files, no nothing!
The game will keep a log of callers that play and how much the
won/lost.
Registration for this game is $15.00! If you think you can afford this, send
