  11.    This file, ORDER.FRM, contains the Pedigree Pursuit license  agreement,
  12.    and gives you information on registering Pedigree Pursuit.  The  actual
  13.    registration form is at the end of the file.

  15.    You  can  print  this  file  by  COPYing  it  to  your printer with the
  16.    following command:

  20.    The file already contains form feeds, so attempting to print it with  a
  21.    program that formats the pages may not work.

  23.    Registration Information

  25.        Pedigree Pursuit is  a copyrighted program  protected by both  U.S.
  26.        and international copyright law.  If you have a demonstration  copy
  27.        of Pedigree Pursuit,  you are authorized  to use this  copy without
  28.        charge under the terms  of the Pedigree Pursuit  license agreement.
  29.        However, the Demonstration version is limited to keyboard entry  up
  30.        to a  maximum of  100 individuals.   In addition,  the Logo screens
  31.        which  appear  when  Pedigree  Pursuit  is  first started cannot be
  32.        bypassed  in  the  Demonstration  version  as  they  can  with  the
  33.        Registered version.

  35.        The  registration  fee  for  a  single  copy of Pedigree Pursuit is
  36.        $129.95.  Payment of this fee entitles you to:

  38.            A disk with the latest version of Pedigree Pursuit,  registered
  39.            to you.

  41.            One copy of the Pedigree  Pursuit manual.  Pedigree Pursuit  is
  42.            highly   intuitive   and   includes   on-line   help   screens.
  43.            Nevertheless,  for  those  who  desire  a  manual, one has been
  44.            provided.

  46.            A free upgrade to the next version of Pedigree Pursuit.

  48.            Technical support via mail or telephone.

  52.    Upgrade Information

  54.        When you purchase  Pedigree Pursuit at  the $129.95 price,  you are
  55.        entitled to a free upgrade to the next version when it is produced.

  58.   Pedigree Pursuit License Agreement
  59.  
  60.        (1) Copyright:  The Pedigree Pursuit program and all other programs
  61.        and documentation distributed or  shipped with it are  Copyright WL
  62.        Futures Associates, 1989, 1990,  1991, 1992, are distributed  under
  63.        license granted by WL Futures Associates, and are protected by U.S.
  64.        and international  copyright law.   In the  rest of  this document,
  65.        this  collection  of  programs  is  referred to simply as "Pedigree
  66.        Pursuit".  You are granted a  license to use your copy of  Pedigree
  67.        Pursuit  only  under  the  terms  and  conditions specified in this
  68.        license agreement.

  70.        (2) Definitions:  Pedigree Pursuit is distributed in two forms.   A
  71.        "registered"  copy  of  Pedigree  Pursuit  is a copy distributed on
  72.        diskette, purchased from WL  Futures Associates, or from  a dealer,
  73.        and which includes the full capabilities of the program without the
  74.        demonstration  limit  on  the  number  of  individuals  who  may be
  75.        entered.   A "Demonstration"  copy of  Pedigree Pursuit  is a  copy
  76.        distributed  on  diskette  or  via  an  electronic  bulletin board,
  77.        on-line service, or other electronic means, obtained from a dealer,
  78.        or obtained from another individual, and which displays the  legend
  79.        "Demonstration" in the program  sign-on message, and in  most cases
  80.        on the diskette label as well (if applicable).

  82.        (3) Demonstration Copies:  Demonstration copies of Pedigree Pursuit
  83.        are distributed to allow you to try the program before you pay  for
  84.        it.   They  are  Copyright  1989,  1990,  1991,  1992,  WL  Futures
  85.        Associates,  and  do  not  constitute  "free"  or  "public  domain"
  86.        software.  You may use a Demonstration copy of Pedigree Pursuit  at
  87.        no charge.   You may  obtain a  Demonstration copy  direct from  WL
  88.        Futures Associates  for a  $5 shipping  and handling  charge.   The
  89.        Demonstration copy is limited to keyboard entry to a maximum of 100
  90.        individuals.

  92.        (4) Registered Copies:   Registered copies of Pedigree  Pursuit are
  93.        distributed to those who have purchased them.  Your registered copy
  94.        of Pedigree Pursuit may only  be used on a single  computer, unless
  95.        you have been granted an explicit site license.

  97.        (5) Use of  One Copy on  Two Computers:   If you have  a registered
  98.        copy of  Pedigree Pursuit  which is  licensed for  use on  a single
  99.        computer, you may install it on two computers used at two different
  100.        locations (for example, at work and at home), provided there is  no
  101.        possibility that the two computers will be in use at the same time,
  102.        and provided that you yourself have purchased Pedigree Pursuit.

  106.        (6) Use of Pedigree Pursuit  on Networks or Multiple Systems:   You
  107.        may install your registered copy of Pedigree Pursuit on a  computer
  108.        attached to a network, or  remove it from one computer  and install
  109.        it on a different one,  provided there is no possibility  that your
  110.        copy will be  used by more  than one user  at a time.   A "user" is
  111.        defined as one keyboard which  is connected to a computer  on which
  112.        Pedigree Pursuit  is installed,  regardless of  whether or  not the
  113.        user  of  the  keyboard  is  aware  of  the  installation or use of
  114.        Pedigree Pursuit in the system.

  116.        (7) Making Copies:   You may copy  any version of  Pedigree Pursuit
  117.        for  normal  backup  purposes,  and  you  may  give  copies  of the
  118.        Demonstration version to other individuals, which they may also use
  119.        and copy subject to the terms  of this agreement.  If you  copy the
  120.        Demonstration  version  of  Pedigree  Pursuit  for others, you must
  121.        include all of the files  distributed with it, including this  one.
  122.        You may  not give  copies of  the registered  version to  any other
  123.        person for  any purpose,  and you  may not  make any  copies of the
  124.        Pedigree Pursuit  manual without  explicit written  permission from
  125.        WL Futures Associates.

  127.        (8)  Use  of  Pedigree  Pursuit:   Pedigree  Pursuit  is a powerful
  128.        program.   While   we  have  attempted   to  build  in   reasonable
  129.        safeguards, if  you do  not use  Pedigree Pursuit  properly you may
  130.        destroy files or cause other  damage to your computer software  and
  131.        data.  You assume full responsibility for the selection and use  of
  132.        Pedigree  Pursuit  to  achieve  your  intended  results.  As stated
  133.        below, WL Futures Associates limits its warranty to replacement  of
  134.        a defective program diskette or manual.

  136.        (9) LIMITED WARRANTY:  WL Futures Associates warrants to owners  of
  137.        registered  copies  of  Pedigree  Pursuit  that  the  software will
  138.        operate  in   accordance  with   the  description   given  in   the
  139.        documentation, and  that the  diskette and  manual will  be free of
  140.        physical defects which interfere with normal use.  For a period  of
  141.        90 days  from the  date of  your purchase  of Pedigree  Pursuit, WL
  142.        Futures Associates  will, at  its sole  option and  subject to  the
  143.        restrictions  above  and  below,  repair  or  replace any defective
  144.        item(s), or refund the purchase price of any diskette and/or manual
  145.        and/or any other parts or  components of Pedigree Pursuit found  to
  146.        be defective, if such defect  is the fault of Pedigree  Pursuit and
  147.        not the  result of  misuse or  abuse.   Such a  refund, repair,  or
  148.        replacement  shall  be  your  sole  remedy for any defects, program
  149.        error(s), or documentation error(s).  In no event shall WL  Futures
  150.        Associates be responsible for any other costs or damages whatsoever
  151.        due to  errors in  usage or  your failure  to read,  understand, or
  152.        follow  instructions  in  the  documentation. WL Futures Associates
  153.        MAKES NO  OTHER WARRANTIES,  EXPRESS OR  IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT
  154.        LIMITATION THE WARRANTIES OF  MERCHANTABILITY AND OF FITNESS  FOR A
  155.        PARTICULAR PURPOSE.  WL Futures Associates's warranty is  expressly
  156.        limited to  the cost  of replacement  of any  defective diskette or
  157.        other part.

  162.        (10)  Satisfaction  Guarantee:   If  you  are  dissatisfied  with a
  163.        registered copy of Pedigree Pursuit for ANY reason (whether or  not
  164.        you find  a software  error or  defect), you  may return the entire
  165.        package at any time up to 30 days after purchase for a full  refund
  166.        of your original purchase price.
