  14.     What is WinQWK ? WinQWK is a program used by a bulletin board caller when
  15. they wish to read mail downloaded using a QWK standard. WinQWK is designed to
  16. run with Windows V3.x, allowing fast and easy access to the message areas by
  17. using a standard button bar.
  18.     If you're a regular BBS caller and enjoy the wealth of information that
  19. there message bases have to offer than this program is for you. I don't know
  20. how I could possibly read the Windows Message conference without this great
  21. utility. Each day I call my favorite local BBS, download the new mail, and read
  22. it at my leisure at home. For boards that charge by the hour, this application
  23. will save you a fortune the first time you use it.
  24.     Probably the best feature WinQWK has to offer is its ability to reply to
  25. the messages you've downloaded. Simply push one of the buttons on the nicely
  26. designed button bar and you can enter your own mail at home. Whenever you call
  27. your favorite BBS back, simply upload the mail (another 1 touch procedure) to
  28. the board. 
  29.     The author's support of WinQWK is worth noting as well. He can be reached 
  30. via several mediums and supports his program to the fullest. A steep 
  31. registration fee ($30.00) is the only drawback we could find at this time. 
  32. Further upgrades include a spell-checker for your own messages and a higher
  33. maximum message limit, currently WinQWK can handle 600 messages in 3200 various
  34. areas.
