  3. Two scenarios will generate this display.
  4.  
  5. 1. Corrupted Boot Protection files.
  6.  
  7. Unexpected errors have been detected by the external unlock
  8. program which could not be resolved programmatically. 
  9.  
  10. 2. /SCAN with Boot Protection (BP) disabled.
  11.  
  12. The external unlock program cannot determine if the boot
  13. protection files are missing (BP is not installed) or
  14. severely corrupted.

  16.                       How to Proceed
  17.                       ==============
  18. The Workstation Identification File (WIF) created during BP
  19. enablement is required. Depending on the extent of the disk
  20. corruption, insufficient information may preclude the
  21. ability of the external unlock program from determining if
  22. the WIF matches the BP state.
  23.  
  24. It is, therefore, VERY IMPORTANT to produce the proper WIF.
  25.  
  26. NOTE : If since BP enablement, in a separate operation, an
  27.        encryption option was changed, the WIF which was
  28.        used to record that change should be used (i.e.
  29.        system area to partition).
