- USING THE STICKY PAD

- Please Read Entire Document For Full Explanation of Procedures

- You can use the Sticky Pad mini app to write reminder notes
- that "stick" in one of the four corners of the computer
- screen for viewing at a later time. You can open up to 10
- Sticky Pads at the same time. There are 8 lines on each
- sticky pad. You can write text or select a graphic
- from the menu for the message.

- Limitations:
- The Sticky Pad mini app remains cross-hatched after the
- mini app is closed. Apar pj13203 fixes this problem and is
- included in ServicePak XR6200 as of 3/16/94. The Sticky
- Pad mini app does not stay on the desktop when you shutdown
- and restart the system. You can put it in the startup folder
- if you want the message to stay on desktop.

- Examples:
- Writing messages on Sticky Pad

- 1. Open the OS/2 System icon
- 2. Open the Productivity folder
- 3. Open the Sticky Pad
- 4. Type in message "This is a test of what you can do with
- the Sticky Pad mini app.

- Adding graphics

- 1. Select Edit
- 2. Select Graphics
- 3. Highlight the graphic you want to add, for example a
- computer screen.
- 4. Press Select

- Moving a Sticky Pad

- 1. Move mouse cursor to the title bar.
- 2. Click left mouse button and hold down while dragging
- the object to the location you want.
- 3. Release the mouse button

- Minimizing the Sticky Pad

- 1. Select the minimize button, the square icon on top right
- corner of window. Minimized icon appears in the selected
- corner of the screen.

- Reopening a Sticky Pad

- 1. Double click on the minimized icon.

- note to a window or changing the frame to the frame you
- want the message to appear in.
