  14.  1. Type: \IBMLAN\INSTALL\LANINST
  15.  2. Select OK
  16.  3. Select Advanced
  17.  4. Select Install or Configure this WS and select OK
  18.  5. Select Fixed Disk where the requester is installed and
  19.     select OK
  20.  6. Select Configure a Component and select OK
  21.  7. Select LAN Adapter & Protocol Support - Configure
  22.  8. Select Configure WS and select OK
  23.  9. Select OK on the Configure WS Screen. Do not make any
  24.     changes.
  25. 10. Select Configuration Complete and select OK
  26. 11. Select OK on LAN Adapters
  27. 12. Select OK on Configure Screen
  28. 13. Select OK to apply changes, although none were made.
  29.  
  30. NOTE: If the requester is running, select OK to stop requester
  31.  
  32. 14. Select OK on File Backup. Note the directory and name of
  33.     backed-up CONFIG.SYS, if recovery is needed.

  35.  When the operation is completed the LAN Services and UPM ICONs
  36.  are on the desk top.

  38. 15. Perform a shutdown and restart the system.

  42.              Communications Manager--E/S 1.0 only

  44. NOTE: Backup CONFIG.SYS, in case a recovery is required

  46.  1. Type REINST
  47.  2. Select Option 1 Install Communications Manager
  48.  3. Select Option 1 Configuration Files
  49.  4. Select Ecs-Cancel on CM Configuration File Menu
  50.  5. Select F3 on CM Install Menu
  51.  6. Select F3 on ES Install/Remove Menu
  52.  
  53.  When the operation completes the Communications Manager ICON is
  54.  on the desk top.

  56.  7. Perform a shutdown and restart the system.
