  12. SYMPTOMS:

  14. This is a problem in OS/2 2.11, not in OS/2 2.1 GA.
  15. The icon for the Hamilton C Shell, an alternate command line
  16. utility, resembles a white "C" in a black globe.  The icon
  17. appears correctly on the desktop; but when it appears in the
  18. upper left corner of an active C Shell window, the "C" is
  19. distorted.  It looks the "C" has melted.  The problem is present
  20. at 1024x768 mode, at least when running XGA-I (XGA card in an
  21. 8595).  The problem also occurs when running 8514, XGA-II (mod
  22. 9595) with 9515 display, and an ATI Graphics Vantage ISA 8514
  23. clone with a clone high resolution monitor.

  25. RESOLUTION:

  27. Obtain the latest version of the 8514_32.DLL that is included in
  28. the 6.634 build or later.

  30. PROCEDURES:
  31.  
  32. 1.  Obtain the latest version of the 8514_32.DLL by:
  33.  
  34.     a.  Submitting a problem report to the video support group.
  35.  
  36.     b.  Asking the support tech. to send the PMR to the OS2FIX
  37.         group and request the latest build containing the
  38.         8514_32.dll.
