  5.  SYS1475 ERROR MESSAGE WHEN STARTING OS/2, 2.X, WARP

  8.      SYS1475 & SYS2027, cannot boot to OS2
  9.      SYS1475 & SYS2027, OS2BOOT cannot be found
  10.      SYS1475 & SYS2027, Operating System missing
  11.

  15.     NOTE:  The system also displays this error if there is
  16.            diskette in drive A:  Check to be sure you do
  17.            NOT have a diskette in drive A:  If so, remove it
  18.            and restart the system.
  19.  
  20. RESOLUTION:
  21.  
  22. Do the following steps to restore your system files back to the hard
  23. disk.
  24.  
  25. 1. Insert Installation Diskette into drive A:
  26.  
  27. 2. Turn computer on, or press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart the system.
  28.  
  29. 3. When prompted, remove Installation Diskette and insert
  30.    Diskette 1.
  31.  
  32. 4. Press Enter.
  33.  
  34. 5. When the Welcome Screen appears:
  35.    - For OS/2 WARP: Press F3 to display the command prompt.
  36.    - For OS/2 2.X:  Press Esc to display the command prompt.
  37.  
  38. 6. Reinsert the Installation Diskette.
  39.  
  40. 7. Type:  SYSINSTX X:  and press Enter.
  41.      (where X: is where OS/2 resides)
  42.  
  43. 8. When the command completes, remove the diskette and restart
  44.    system.
