  11. WIN-OS/2 can run in two operating modes:
  12.  
  13.    * Standard Mode - used to run programs written for
  14.                      Microsoft Windows Versions 3.0 and 3.1.
  15.    * Enhanced Compatibility Mode - used to run programs
  16.                      requiring Microsoft Windows Versions 3.0
  17.                      and 3.1 enhanced.
  18.  
  19.    NOTE:  All Windows Version 3.0 and 3.1 standard mode programs
  20.           runs in a WIN-OS/2 enhanced compatibility mode session.

  23. You can specify a mode for a WIN-OS/2 session or Windows programs
  24. by changing the WIN-OS/2 run mode setting.  For Windows programs
  25. requiring Microsoft Windows Version 3.1 enhanced mode, set the
  26. WIN_RUN_MODE setting to 3.1 ENHANCED COMPATIBILITY.

  28.    TO SET THE MODE:
  29.  
  30.      1. Display the pop-up menu for the Windows program object.
  31.      2. Select the arrow to the right of OPEN.
  32.      3. Select  SETTINGS.
  33.      4. Select SESSION.
  34.      5. Select the WIN-OS/2 settings, push button.
  35.      6. Select the WIN_RUN_MODE setting.
  36.      7. Select the 3.1 ENHANCED COMPATIBILITY radio button.
  37.      8. Select SAVE.
