  24. Description of Working Group:
  25.  
  26. The SNA NAU MIB Working Group is chartered to define a set of managed
  27. objects for SNA Network Accessible Units.  These objects will provide the
  28. ability to monitor and control those devices, providing fault,
  29. configuration, and performance management, and will be consistent with
  30. the SNMP framework and existing SNMP standards.
  31.  
  32. The working group has completed MIBs for base SNA NAU functions, for LU
  33. Type 6.2 or APPC (Advanced Program-to-Program Communication), and for
  34. APPN (Advanced Peer-to-Peer Networking).  MIBs for Dependent LU Requester
  35. (DLUR) and for HPR (High Performance Routing) are nearing completion.
  36. The working group is currently working on a MIB for APPN Extended Border
  37. Node (EBN).

  39. The working group will make sure that its work is aligned with the SNA
  40. DLC MIB Working Group, due to the close relationship between the devices
  41. being worked on by the two groups.

  46.                 proposal.

  51.                 a Proposed Standard.
