CURRENT MEETING REPORT
Minutes of the HyperText Transfer Protocol Working Group (html)
Reported by Eric Sink, Spyglass, Inc. and Dan DuBois, Spyglass, Inc.
Eric Sink gave an introduction and requested agenda modifications. The
roster was passed
There was a discussion of the tables draft. David Morris expressed
concern over the presence of style sheet information in the draft, as well
as the mention of clipping of a column. A brief discussion ensued. Dave
Raggett agreed to revise the draft and resubmit it. It was agreed that
the draft is NOT yet in Last Call, despite the request to the IESG for
Last Call, which didn't get processed.
Not many people had input or things to discuss on the STYLE draft.
Most people in attendance had not read it.
Since none of the authors of the i18n draft were present, the decision
was made to avoid discussion of the draft.
A brief discussion of the CDA draft led to a presentation by Dave
Raggett about the W3C proposed INSERT tag. Since the proposal was
not then available for the general public to read, the discussion was
tabled as soon as contention was visible.
After bringing closure to the meeting itself, Alex Hopmann presented
some ideas which were somewhat related to HTML.
