  41.  1. The minutes of the February 6 teleconference were approved. Steve
  42.     to place in Shadow directories.

  44.  2. The IESG approved publication The PPP Bandwidth Allocation Control
  45.     Protocol  (BACP) <draft-ietf-pppext-bacp-06.txt> as a Proposed
  46.     Standard. Steve to send announcement.

  48.  3. The IESG approved establishing the QoS Routing (qosr) WG in the
  49.     routing area.
  50.  
  51.  4. The IESG approved establishing the Multiprotocol Label Switching
  52.     (mpls) WG in the routing area with the following charter changes:

  54.     a. remove the two February '98 milestones
  55.     b. add a April '98 milestone to review the status of the WG's
  56.        efforts and determine whether to close down the WG. If not,
  57.        identify the next set of milestones.
  58.     c. Change the verb in Objective 7 from "Provide" to "Discuss"
  59.  
  60.  5. The IESG approved establishing the Secure Shell (secsh) WG in the
  61.     Security Area.

  63.  6. The IESG approved establishing The Internet and the millenium
  64.     problem (2000) in the Operations area.

  66.  7. The IESG consensus was to move the Interfaces MIB (ifmib) to the
  67.     Internet Area. This completes the reallocation of the Network
  68.     Management Area WGs.

  70.  8. The IESG approved publication of Microsoft Point-To-Point
  71.     Compression (MPPC) Protocol <draft-ietf-pppext-mppc-00.txt> as an
  72.     Informational RFC. Steve to send announcement.

  74.  9. The IESG approved publication of Traffic Flow Measurement:
  75.     Experiences with NeTraMet <draft-ietf-rtfm-acct-experiences-01.txt>
  76.     as an Informational RFC. Steve to send announcement.

  78. 10. The IESG approved publication of Managing the X.500 Root Naming
  79.     context <draft-ietf-ids-root-naming-01.txt> as an Experimental
  80.     Protocol. Steve to send announcement.

  82. 11. The IESG discussed the idea of adding the new IESG members, whose
  83.     terms begin at the end of the Memphis meeting in April, to the IESG
  84.     teleconference. The consensus was that it was inappropriate for
  85.     them to be included before their terms begin.

  87. 12. Keith said he would send notes to the author of Telnet Remote
  88.     Serial Port (RSP) Option <draft-rfced-info-bennett-00.txt>. Steve
  89.     to convey this information in a "please do not publish yet" message
  90.     to the RFC Editor.

  92. 13. Steve to sent note to RFC Editor summarizing IESG comments/concerns
  93.     on Electronic Part Catalog to Business System Interface
  94.     <draft-rfced-info-sheppard-00.txt>, suggesting that it not be
  95.     published.
