  38.  1. The minutes of the April 11 Meeting were approved. Steve to place
  39.     in IETF Shadow directories.
  40.  
  41.  2. The IESG deferred action on the Transmission of IPv6 Packets over
  42.     FDDI Networks and Token Ring Networks, as more time for discussion
  43.     and evaluation is necessary.

  45.  3. The IESG decided to return Definition of X.500 Attribute Types and
  46.     an Object Class to Hold Uniform Resource Identifiers (URIs)
  47.     <draft-ietf-asid-x500-url-02.txt> to the working group for text
  48.     changes (primarily editorial or to clarify certain sections) and
  49.     requested a revised Internet-Draft be submitted. No second last
  50.     call is required; the document action is placed On-Hold.

  52.  4. The IESG approved publication of An LDAP URL Format
  53.     <draft-ietf-asid-ldap-format-03.txt> as a Proposed Standard.
  54.  
  55.  5. The IESG also approved publication of A String Representation of
  56.     LDAP Search Filters <draft-ietf-asid-string-filter-01.txt> as a
  57.     Proposed Standard, but with a change to Section 4. Specifically,
  58.     change from:

  60.     If a <value> must contain  one  of  the  characters  '*'  or
  61.     '(' or ')', these characters should be escaped by preceding
  62.     them with the backslash '\' character.

  77.     <draft-gulbrandsen-dns-rr-srvcs-03.txt> as an Experimental
  78.     Protocol.

  80.  7. The IESG had no problem with the publication of Native ATM Support
  81.     in the Internet <draft-rfced-info-jackowski-00.txt>, but request the 
  82.     document title be changed to "Native ATM support for ST2+"
  83.  
  84.  8. The IESG had no problem with the publication of Greek Character
  85.     Encoding for Electronic Mail Messages
  86.     <draft-rfced-info-spinellis-02.txt> as an Informational RFC.

  88.  9. The IESG briefly discussed Guidelines for IETF Meeting Sites
  89.     <draft-prior-future-host-guidelines-01.txt> that was submitted for
  90.     publication as a BCP RFC. Action was deferred for further
  91.     discussion. It was noted that this document should be published as
  92.     an Informational document and should include an IESG note stating
  93.     that the document is an opinion of the authors and does not reflect
  94.     the opinion of the IETF.
