  39.  1. The IESG approved the minutes from the March 28 IESG telechat. Coya
  40.     to place in shadow directories.

  42.  2. The IESG approved publication of GSS-API Authentication Method for
  43.     SOCKS Version 5 <draft-ietf-aft-gssapi-02.txt> as a Proposed
  44.     Standard.

  46.  3. The IESG approved publication of The Kerberos Version 5 GSS-API
  47.     Mechanism <draft-ietf-cat-kerb5gss-06.txt> as a Proposed Standard.

  49.  4. The IESG decided to return Domain Name System Security Extensions
  50.     <draft-ietf-dnssec-secext-09.txt> to the author for clarification
  51.     and other changes. Harald is to provide a more complete list to
  52.     Jeff, who will convey to the author. This document is removed from
  53.     the IESG agenda, and will be considered after a new version of the
  54.     Internet-Draft is made available.

  56.  5. The IESG approved publication of Neighbor Discovery for IP Version
  57.     6 (IPv6) <draft-ietf-ipngwg-discovery-06.txt> as a Proposed
  58.     Standard.

  60.  6. The IESG approved publication of IPv6 Stateless Address
  61.     Autoconfiguration <draft-ietf-addrconf-ipv6-auto-07.txt> as a
  62.     Proposed Standard.
  63.  
  64.  7. The draft charter for Uniform Resource Characteristics (urc) was
  65.     withdrawn from consideration by the IESG. This will be
  66.     recondsidered when a new charter is developed and submitted.

  68.  8. A decision on Native ATM Support in the Internet
  69.     <draft-rfced-info-jackowski-00.txt>, a candidate for Informational
  70.     RFC, was deferred to permit more time for IESG review. It was noted
  71.     that when published, the title WILL have to be changed.

  73.  9. WG ACtions:
  74.   
  75.     a. The IPNG Working Group is to be transferred to the Internet Area.
  76.     b. Addrconf is to be closed down. Any future work will be handled
  77.        by the IPNG Working Group.
  78.     c. The IPNG Area will close once the final two documents (An IPv6
  79.        Provider-Based Unicast Address Format & Path MTU Discovery for
  80.        IP version 6) are processed.

  82. 10. Note of Apprecation: The IESG commended Scott Bradner and Allison
  83.     Mankin for the outstanding job they performed as co-Area Directors of
  84.     the IPNG Area, and thanked them for taking on the job.

  86.     Scott and Allison: take two cookies out of petty cash :-)

  88. 11. Steve will try and create a list of all RFCs that have expired in
  89.     grade.
