  39.  1. The minutes of the March 9 telechat were approved. Coya to place in
  40.     the IETF Shadow directories.
  41.  
  42.  2. The IESG approved the publication of "MHS use of the X.500 Directory
  43.     to support MHS Routing" <draft-ietf-mhsds-routdirectory-06.txt> as
  44.     an Experimental Protocol, though the IESG requests that the title
  45.     be changed to "X.400-MHS use of the X.500 Directory to support
  46.     X.400-MHS Routing"

  48.     Coya to notify RFC Editors.

  50.  3. The IESG decided to return "The PPP Encryption Control Protocol
  51.     (ECP)" <draft-ietf-ospf-demand-02.txt> to the WG for revisions.
  52.  
  53.     Coya to send copy of the note from John Klensin (noting that Scott
  54.     agrees with the points raised by John) to the WG Chair and the ADs.
  55.     Discussion on making ECP a standards track item will be suspended
  56.     until the revision is made available.

  58.  4. The IESG approved the publication of Extending OSPF to support
  59.     demand circuits <draft-ietf-ospf-demand-02.txt> as a Proposed
  60.     Standard.

  64.  5. The IESG approved reclassifying RFC 1267 and RFC 1268 (BGP 3) as
  65.     Historic documents.

  69.  6. The IESG approved the publication of IP over SMDS <RFC1209> as a
  70.     Standard.

  74.  7. The IESG approved the creation of IP Version 6 MIB (ipv6mib)
  75.     Working Group in the Internet Area.

  79.  8. The IESG approved the creation of RWhois Operational Development
  80.     (rwhois) Working Group in the Operational Requirements Area.

  84.  9. The IESG had no problem with the publication of "INETPhone:
  85.     Telephone Services and Servers on Internet" as an Informational
  86.     RFC. Allison Mankin wanted to prepare a statement that would be
  87.     included on the RFC cover page.

  90.     the RFC Editors.

  92. 10. The IESG wanted to annotate "ICMP Domain Name messages"
  93.     <draft-simpson-icmp-domain-name-01.txt> which was submitted to the
  94.     RFC Editor as an Experimental Protocol. Allison will prepare text
  95.     to be included in the RFC cover.

  97.     Coya to notify RFC Editors. Mankin to send text for inclusion to
  98.     the RFC Editors.

  100. 11. There will be an IESG Retreat held in the DC area on April 27-28,
  101.     1995.

  103. 12. The IESG decided that Hale & Dorr would be contracted to provide
  104.     counsel. Scott to coordinate with Geoff Stewart and arrange for him
  105.     to be present at the Poised95 session on Intellectual Property
  106.     Rights at the Danvers IETF meeting.
  107.  
  108. 13. The Poised95-IPR BOF session is to be rescheduled so that if
  109.     follows the IAB review of Dave Crocker's appeal. The IPR session
  110.     will be held Wednesday morning.
  111.  
  112.     Coya to inform Scott of the exact date and time of the session as
  113.     he will pass that on to Geoff Stewart of Hale and Dorr.
  114.  
  115. 14. The IESG felt that the normal course of actions would be to create
  116.     an SSL I-D and refer the SSL developers to the IETF WG.  However,
  117.     if the SSL folks felt that the WG's aims were incompatible, we
  118.     should allow informational publication with a disclaimer by
  119.     Schiller and Klensin.
  120.  
  121.     Coya to inform Klensin and Schiller of the action item, and convey
  122.     their sentiments to the RFC Editors.
