  19. This document specifies a method for allowing ATM-attached hosts
  20. that have direct ATM connectivity to set up end-to-end IP over ATM
  21. connections within the reachable ATM cloud, on request from
  22. applications, and for the exclusive use by the requesting
  23. applications.

  25. IESG Note: This RFC has not had the benefit of the rigorous peer
  26. review that is part of the process in an IETF working group.  The
  27. technology it describes has been implemented and is now undergoing
  28. testing. It would be wise to analyze the results of this testing as
  29. well as to understand alternatives before committing to this approach
  30. for IP over ATM with QoS guarantees.

  33. does not specify an Internet standard of any kind.  Distribution of
  34. this memo is unlimited.
