  20. The Trivial File Transfer Protocol (STD 33, RFC 1350) is a simple,
  21. lock-step, file transfer protocol which allows a client to get or put
  22. a file onto a remote host.  This document describes a simple extension
  23. to TFTP to allow option negotiation prior to the file transfer.  This
  24. RFC is the product of the TFTP Extensions Working Group of the IETF.
  25.  
  26. This is now a Proposed Standard Protocol.
  27.  
  28. This document specifies an Internet standards track protocol for the
  29. Internet community, and requests discussion and suggestions for
  30. improvements.  Please refer to the current edition of the "Internet
  31. Official Protocol Standards" (STD 1) for the standardization state and
  32. status of this protocol.  Distribution of this memo is unlimited.
