  4.   Select an option by highlighting it and
  5.  pressing <Enter>.  The options are described
  6.  below and on the next screen.
  7.  Salvage from deleted directories
  8.      Lets you salvage files that were erased
  9.      from directories that no longer exist.
  10.  Select current directory
  11.      Lets you to change to another directory or
  12.      volume/server to view the SALVAGE file
  13.      list.

  15.   Set SALVAGE options
  16.      Lets you change the way the SALVAGE files
  17.      are displayed on your screen.
  18.  View/recover deleted files
  19.      Lets you view the SALVAGE file list in the
  20.      current directory and recover or purge
  21.      salvaged files.
  22.  Set SALVAGE Option                             Help 1 of 1
  23.   This option lets you change the sort order of the
  24.  View/Recover Salvage File list. Normally, SALVAGE sorts by
  25.  the filenames of the salvaged files. To change this order,
  26.  select this option from the main menu or press the Modify
  27.  key (F3) while viewing the list.  The available sort
  28.  orders are:
  29.  1.  Sort by deletion date.
  30.  2.  Sort by file size.
  31.  3.  Sort by filename (default).
  32.  4.  Sort by owner name.
  33.  To change the sort order, highlight a sort order and press
  34.  <Enter>. To keep the current sort order, press <Escape>.

  36.   This option displays a list of salvageable
  37.  files in the current directory, the root
  38.  directory, the parent directory, and
  39.  subdirectories. 
  40.  You can change the order of the files by
  41.  pressing the Modify key (F3) and selecting the
  42.  sort order of the current list.

  45.   The following options are available:
  46.  Recover salvageable files
  47.      Lets you recover salvageable files by
  48.      highlighting the file you want to recover
  49.      and pressing <Enter>.
  50.  Purege salvageable files
  51.      Lets you purge salvageable files by
  52.      highlighting the file you want to purge
  53.      and pressing <Delete>.
  54.  If the entry is marked <DIR>, pressing <Enter>
  55.  shows salvageable files in that directory.

  57.   Enter a filename pattern to search by and press
  58.  <Enter>. Wildcard characters allowed in the
  59.  pattern are * and ?.  
  60.  * matches zero or more of any character.
  61.  ? matches exactly one of any character.
  62.  Press <Escape> to return to the main menu.

  64.   To recover the selected files, highlight
  65.  Yes and press <Enter>.
  66.  To not recover the selected files, highlight
  67.  No and press <Enter>.

  69.   To purge the selected files, highlight Yes
  70.  and press <Enter>.
  71.  To not purge the selected files, highlight
  72.  No and press <Enter>.

  74.   You just tried to recover a file whose name
  75.  matches an existing file in the same
  76.  directory. You must enter a different name for
  77.  the recovered file.
  78.  Type the name and press <Enter>. To stop
  79.  recovery of this file, press <Escape>.
  80.  No Rights to Files from              Help 1 of 1
  81.  Deleted Directories
  82.   You have no rights to recover, purge, or view
  83.  files erased from directories that have been
  84.  deleted. The system supervisor must assign you
  85.  rights to do this.
  86.  No Search Privileges               Help 1 of 1
  87.   You have no search privileges in the selected
  88.  directory. Without search privileges, you
  89.  cannot search for salvageable files or
  90.  subdirectories. You will be returned to the
  91.  last directory you selected.
  92.  Salvageable File List Out of Memory   Help 1 of 1
  93.   Your workstation has run out of memory while
  94.  building a list of salvageable files.  The option
  95.  you requested will abort.
  96.  To purge or recover files, enter a filename
  97.  pattern that will match fewer files.
  98.  An unexpected error has occurred. The option
  99.  you requested will abort.
  100.  Program Too Large for Memory         Help 1 of 1
  101.   This program is too large for the memory on
  102.  your workstation. To run this program do one of
  103.  the following:
  104.  Run this program on a workstation with more
  105.  memory.
  106.  Reboot your workstation with fewer
  107.  Terminate-and-Stay-Resident (TSR) programs.
  108.  New Filename Exists            Help 1 of 1
  109.   The new filename you entered already
  110.  exists. You must enter a name that is not
  111.  in use.
  112.  Press <Escape> to either enter a new name
  113.  or to abort.
  114.  Out of Memory                       Help 1 of 1
  115.   Your workstation does not have enough memory to
  116.  do the requested operation. The operation will
  117.  abort. To use this operation do one of the
  118.  following:
  119.  Run this program on a workstation with more
  120.  memory.
  121.  Reboot your workstation with fewer
  122.  Terminate-and-Stay-Resident (TSR) programs.
  123.  No Create Rights                 Help 1 of 1
  124.   You do not have sufficient rights to create
  125.  files in the selected directory. Recovering
  126.  a salvaged file requires Create rights.
  127.  No Delete Rights                 Help 1 of 1
  128.   You do not have sufficient rights to delete
  129.  files in the selected directory. Purging a
  130.  salvageable file requires Delete rights.
  131.  Select Volume                      Help 1 of 1
  132.   Select a volume on which to recover or purge
  133.  files deleted from directories that were later
  134.  deleted.
  135.  To select a volume, highlight the volume using
  136.  the arrow keys, then press <Enter>. Press
  137.  <Escape> to return to the main menu.

  139.   Select an option by highlighting it and

  142.  Select current volume
  143.      Lets you change to another server\volume. 
  144.      If you select a 386 server, you can
  145.      specify subdirectories.
  146.  Recover deleted files
  147.      Recovers all salvageable files on the
  148.      current volume.

  150.   When a user deletes a file, it is kept as a
  151.  salvageable file so it can be recovered until
  152.  the user logs out or writes to the disk.
