-
- Thanks for using and supporting NCSA Telnet.
-
- We hope this list keeps everyone up-to-date as we exchange user problems and
- start to discuss source code issues.
-
- This is the first message for the telnet mailing list. If you receive this
- message then don't complain about not being on the list.
-
- If for some reason you would rather not have your email address included
- on this mailing list, let us know at telnet-request@ncsa.uiuc.edu.

-
- We have had some questions and problems with documentation distribution.
-
- Don't ask me how, but we had TWO problems with posted documentation.
-
- 1. Some of you have downloaded version 2.0 PC documentation with Chapter 6
- missing. Since this is the installation and configuration chapter, we are
- in big trouble.
-
- 2. We have posted the wrong documentation for the Mac version 2.0. The
- posted documentation was 3 months old. Believe us, you really want to
- download the new docs.
-
- Both of these oversights have been fixed in the anonymous ftp posting.
-
-
- The Mac documentation is available in two forms. The Pack-It file contains
- all of the chapters in Microsoft Word 3.X format. The chapters are also there
- in HQX format individual files.
-
- We have had a request for the PC docs in their original Macintosh
- Microsoft Word 3.X format rather than the ready-to-line-print file in
- the distribution. These will be posted in a Mac Pack-It file.
