  19. 1. Introduction
  20.  
  21.     The DrumFlow is powerful drum sequencer. You can use the DrumFlow
  22. to edit Drum Setup (for GS or XG MIDI) parameters by NRPN controllers.
  23. The DrumFlow allows you to create custom percussion parts with adjustable
  24. drums and then to export these parts to your MIDI editor (e.g. Cakewalk or
  25. Cubase) through the clipboard or MIDI file.

  27.     MIDI musicians always want to get good drum sounds and patterns.
  28. It is tricky to make fine drum parts in MIDI. Composers use the digitalized
  29. samples of drumbeats, called 'loops'. Pure MIDI can't have any digital
  30. sound but can only have MIDI events and controllers. Here comes
  31. my program: it is an ideal way to create MIDI drumloops!

  33. 2. Terms of use
  34.  
  35.     This version of the program is freeware. You are allowed to use it
  36. without restrictions only for non-commercial use. No payment of any kind may
  37. be charged for this product without my own authorisation and official
  38. written license. This program or the data files contained therein may not
  39. be altered or modified without my own permission too. You take full
  40. responsibility for the operation of this software and any consequences
  41. thereof. I cannot accept liability for damages or failures arising from the
  42. use of this software.

  44. 3. Requirements
  45.  
  46.     486 processor or higher;
  47.     Windows 95/98, Windows NT or higher;
  48.     GS or XG MIDI output device for full support or
  49.     Any MIDI output device for drum sequencer features only;
  50.     Mouse or other pointing device;
  51.     1 Mb of free HDD space;
  52.     8 Mb or RAM.

  54. 4. How to install the DrumFlow?
  55.  
  56.     Just run the main file (DFLOWxxx.EXE, xxx is version number
  57. [xxx=170]). Installation program will copy files to DrumFlow's
  58. directory, like
  59.     C:\Program Files\DrumFlow
  60. If previous version was installed just overwrite old files. Installation
  61. program will continue and ask you about shortcuts and so on. After that,
  62. installation is over and you can run the program.

  64. 5. How to uninstall the DrumFlow?
  65.  
  66.     To uninstall the program use 'Uninstall DrumFlow' item from
  67. DrumFlow group. The uninstall process creates short 'DFUNINST.EXE' file
  68. in Windows's directory and will delete it after rebooting, but rebooting after
  69. uninstall is NOT necessary procedure. This operation may wait to your next
  70. restarting.
