Introduction The DrumFlow is powerful drum sequencer. You can use the DrumFlow to edit Drum Setup (for GS or XG MIDI) parameters by NRPN controllers. The DrumFlow allows you to create custom percussion parts with adjustable drums and then to export these parts to your MIDI editor (e.g. Cakewalk or Cubase) through the clipboard or MIDI file. MIDI musicians always want to get good drum sounds and patterns. It is tricky to make fine drum parts in MIDI. Composers use the digitalized samples of drumbeats, called 'loops'. Pure MIDI can't have any digital sound but can only have MIDI events and controllers. Here comes my program: it is an ideal way to create MIDI drumloops! 2. Terms of use This version of the program is freeware. You are allowed to use it without restrictions only for non-commercial use. No payment of any kind may be charged for this product without my own authorisation and official written license. This program or the data files contained therein may not be altered or modified without my own permission too. You take full responsibility for the operation of this software and any consequences thereof. I cannot accept liability for damages or failures arising from the use of this software. 3. Requirements 486 processor or higher; Windows 95/98, Windows NT or higher; GS or XG MIDI output device for full support or Any MIDI output device for drum sequencer features only; Mouse or other pointing device; 1 Mb of free HDD space; 8 Mb or RAM. 4. How to install the DrumFlow? Just run the main file (DFLOWxxx.EXE, xxx is version number [xxx=170]). Installation program will copy files to DrumFlow's directory, like C:\Program Files\DrumFlow If previous version was installed just overwrite old files. Installation program will continue and ask you about shortcuts and so on. After that, installation is over and you can run the program. 5. How to uninstall the DrumFlow? To uninstall the program use 'Uninstall DrumFlow' item from DrumFlow group. The uninstall process creates short 'DFUNINST.EXE' file in Windows's directory and will delete it after rebooting, but rebooting after uninstall is NOT necessary procedure. This operation may wait to your next restarting. 6. More information 1. I've included some of my DFA example files in this version. You can use this drum patterns in your music if you want, but don't forget to give credits. You can get more information from DFHELP.HLP file. 7. How to contact the author?
