  3. This brand new release Address release is registered to Atari Computing 
  4. and completely unrestricted!

  6. This release is only available to Atari Computing Reader disk and STraTOS 
  7. CD-ROM subscribers and not for distribution by PD libraries, on-line 
  8. services or anywhere else.

  14. Introduction
  15. ------------
  16. Address is a name and address manager and database programmed by Carsten 
  17. Setje-Eilers.
  18. Address runs as either a desktop accessory or application (by renaming 
  19. ACC<>APP). Its features include:

  21. - Dialogs in windows
  22. - Stylish interface
  23. - Comprehensive import/export options
  24. - Exhaustive context sensitive ST-Guide hypertext
  25. - Modem dialer
  26. - XAcc, Drag&Drop, protocol support
  27. - Filter, 3 stage sort
  28. - Birthday alarm etc, etc.
  29. - The only limit to the number of entries is available memory (normally 
  30.   the unregistered version is restricted to 40 addresses).

  33. To extract the archives to floppy
  34. ---------------------------------
  35. - Use ACBAKUP.TOS to make a copy of the Reader disk
  36. - Delete everything apart from ADDRESS.TOS
  37. - Double click on ADDRESS.TOS to extract the archive
  38. - Delete ADDRESS.TOS
  39. - Repeat procedure for EXTRAS.TOS using a second floppy.
  40. - After extraction you can copy the files from the second floppy to other 
  41.   floppy so all the files are on a single floppy.

  43. Hard disk systems
  44. -----------------
  45. - Copy ADDRESS.TOS and EXTRAS.TOS to a hard disk partition
  46. - Double click on ADDRESS.TOS to extract the archive
  47. - Double click on EXTRAS.TOS to extract the archive
  48. - Delete ADDRESS.TOS and EXTRAS.TOS
