  5. The RULER DIALOG  lets you set/copy  ruler options  for
  6. individual text windows  and the  general settings  for
  7. the three text window classes DEFAULT, ALTERNATIVE  and
  8. BINARY.
  9.  
  10. Use the  PULL DOWN  MENU  to select  a text  window  or
  11. default  text  window   class  for   which  to   change
  12. parameters.
  13.  
  14. Use FETCH  to copy  a text  window's ruler  information
  15. into the dialog window.
  16.  
  17. Use APPLY to copy the dialog window's information  into
  18. a text window.
  19.  
  20. Rulers  can  be  LOADed  and  SAVEd  by  clicking   the
  21. appropriate buttons  and entering  a file  in the  file
  22. selector.  The following files in the system  directory
  23. are used for Edith's default setup:

  26.    ALTER.RUL
  27.    BINARY.RUL

  32. ** as  the  EDITOR  TAB  STOPS  can  be  at   arbitrary
  33.    positions, these cannot be  set in this  dialog, but
  34.    must be positioned  within a  text window, and  then
  35.    copied using the FETCH button.
