OFF TOPIC (what is the topic at the moment anyway!!) :-)

I have found some wicked uses for my Event Horizon CD.

1. If you are playing Quake/Quake2. Stick the Event Horizon CD in the
drive. Put on a pair of headphones and turn the lights out (sad I
know!!).
This is the gratest gaming experience you will have.
Oh, and have a few clean pairs of pants by your side!!!

2. Listen to it in the dark when there is no one else in the house!!!

3. Listen to it when you are tripping/pissed!!! ;-)

Tis true....all 3 live cds in one cardboard type box which is grey
looking. I thought id put this on the Loopz site with a scanned
image...but i hadnt....ill add it to the ever growing list of things to

My brother was complaining that Underworld weren't on there (as it says on
the cover), if only people would read the magazine! On second thoughts, it
is Mixmag...

    On a similar note, they showed this video on amp 3 weeks ago. It's one of
the most mind boggling videos I've seen. It's just downright weird. BTW,
AMP is now on Sunday nights at 2 (eastern time) with a new season, and both
episodes have been excellent. I'm looking forward to tonight's.

I cant believe anyone actually likes this new AMP that theyve been
showing, it's absolutly terrible.  I keep hoping theyll bring back the

            I have to disagree. The mixed episodes of Amp were the most
horrible things I've ever seen. The only time I ever saw a single mix
that was on was when they showed clips from the X-Mix series. I mean,
I'm sure it's more difficult to mix videos than records, but overlapping
the drum parts on songs that aren't the same tempo is just bad. I would
much rather hear the songs in their entirety than listen to 30 seconds
of different tempo drum clashing with each other. There was also very
little consideration given to the moods of the songs. Mixing trip hop
with high speed techno would be weird even if it *was* possible to get
them the same speed (assuming you even wanted to in the first place...)
Anyway, not only have the episodes *not* been badly mixed, the track
listings for the shows is much closer to the quality they had on the
very first few episodes. Has anyone else seen the new AMP? I'm curious
if I'm all alone on this one.. I can probably gather up the listings for
all 3 episodes if anyone is interested..
