  10. SUMMARY

  12. This post-release fix is for the following products/versions:
  13.  o F-Secure Anti-Virus for Windows Servers 9.00
  14.  o F-Secure Anti-Virus for Citrix Servers 9.00
  15.  
  16. This post-release fix includes the following fix: 
  17.  o Settings cannot be changed through WebUI in centralized admin mode
  18.  
  19.  
  20. TECHNICAL DETAILS
  21.  
  22. When F-Secure Anti-Virus for Windows Servers 9.00 is installed in 
  23. centralized administration mode, product settings are configured from
  24. F-Secure Policy Manager Console and cannot be modified through the Web 
  25. Console. This hotfix enables changing settings through the Web Console 
  26. as well. To restrict making changes or override settings modified 
  27. through the Web Console, the administrator can use the Final flag in 
  28. the Policy Manager Console. The settings with the set Final flag will 
  29. be disabled and displayed with the lock sign in the WebUI.

  31. Note that if you have F-Secure Anti-Virus for Windows Servers 9.00 
  32. installed together with F-Secure Anti-Virus for Microsoft Exchange 9.00 
  33. on the same server, it is recommended to upgrade F-Secure Anti-Virus 
  34. for Microsoft Exchange to version 9.10.

  36. NOTE: Fixes for a particular component are cumulative and contain all 
  37. of the previous fixes for that component.

  43. HOW TO APPLY THE POSTFIX LOCALLY
  44.  
  45. o Unpack all files from the package into a temporary folder on the local
  46.   machine.
  47.  
  48. o Open this folder in Windows Explorer and then double-click 
  49.   "fsavsrv900_HF07.fsfix".
  50.  
  51. o Note: Applying this hotfix DOES NOT REQUIRE a reboot.

  54. HOW TO APPLY THE POSTFIX REMOTELY USING POLICY BASED INSTALLATION
  55.  
  56. o Unpack all files from the package into a temporary folder on the local
  57.   machine with F-Secure Policy Manager Console installed.
  58.  
  59. o Open F-Secure Policy Manager Console and import "fsavsrv900_HF07.jar"
  60.   installation package.
  61.  
  62. o Apply the hotfix package to the target domain/host using Policy-based 
  63.   installations table in the console and distribute policy.
