Hi-
I found out - thanks to my housemate Marc Langston who works
at the Main Library that one could login to the umass library system.
Here's how u can do it:
HOST ADDRESS: umlibr.libr.umass.edu
login: uopac
password: <CR> (no password- just hit Return/Enter).
The best terminal type settings I have found in the startup menu is O
(oh not zero) i.e. Wyse/VT220 emulation.....
U dont have to go to the library to search for books now.
HAVE FUN,
Chandu
PS: What I do not know is if it is public access.
My guess is -it is since there is no password at all.
