  46. 1.      Introduction

  48.     If a WINNER graphics board (e.g. WINNER 1000PRO) on the VL or
  49.     PCI bus and a second, non-VGA graphics board (e.g. WINNER
  50.     1280) are used at the same time, they may be connected via the
  51.     feature connector.
  52.  
  53.     In this case only one of the hardware color palettes may be
  54.     programmable, depending on the bus type (VL or PCI). This can
  55.     cause incorrect colors to be displayed by one of the graphics
  56.     boards.
  57.  
  58.     The SNOOP program allows to define the behavior of palette
  59.     programming. This enables the user to see the correct colors on
  60.     his monitor if it is connected to the second graphics board and
  61.     displays the VGA screen via the feature connector.

  64. 1.1     Graphics boards on the VL Bus, WINNER 1000TRIO-PCI, WINNER
  65.         1000TRIO/V and VICTORY 3D:

  67.     SNOOP allows to choose wether only the color palette on the
  68.     VGA board or both color palettes can be programmed.

  71. 1.2     Graphics Board on the PCI Bus with the exception of WINNER
  72.         1000TRIO-PCI, WINNER 1000TRIO/V and VICTORY 3D:

  74.     SNOOP allows to define which color palette can be programmed.
  75.     It is not possible to activate both palettes at the same time.

  77.     You should select "SNOOP OFF" before running Windows or other
  78.     high resolution applications on the PCI WINNER graphics board.

  113.         ON:  VL graphics boards, WINNER 1000TRIO-PCI, WINNER
  114.              1000TRIO/V and VICTORY 3D:
  115.          The color palettes of both graphics boards will be
  116.          programmed.

  118.              PCI graphics boards without WINNER 1000TRIO-PCI, WINNER
  119.              1000TRIO/V and VICTORY 3D:
  120.          The color palette of the second graphics boards will be
  121.          programmed.

  123.          This setting is used to display the VGA screen via the
  124.          feature connector on the monitor connected to the second
  125.          graphics board.

  128.     OFF: Only the color palette of the VGA graphics boards will be
  129.          programmed.

  131.          This setting is used to display high resolution graphics
  132.          (Windows, CAD etc.) on the monitor connected to the WINNER
  133.          VGA board.

  136.     (none): The SNOOP program will display a help screen an the
  137.          current setting when called without command line
  138.          parameters.

  143. 4.      Cable connection
  144.  
  145.     Connect the ELSA VL/PCI-board with the flat conductor cable to
  146.     the second graphics board. Only for ELSA WINNER 1000TRIO and
  147.     WINNER 1000TRIO/V the cable have to be twisted one times.
